IP telephony just as replacement for existing analog or ISDN telephony brings almost no use for the user. Only convergence and integration of voice, data and multimedia services make the advantages of an IP-based “unified communication” (UC) profitable for the users within the business sector. This results in better availability, faster business processes and therefore increased productivity.
The open system architecture of DATUS’ IP telephony solutions offers wide integrated UC features and open interfaces for integrating existing communication applications. Therefore, it offers the maximum flexibility and individual adaptability. Users are not forced to use given solutions of manufacturer specific systems, but rather unify given and new solutions to a “unified communication” system, which fits their needs and requirements.
