DATUS distinguish between 3 categories of voice-media gateways: • SipXchange server for realizing of central SIP-based VoIP solutions • Voice-media gateways iAGS-4 for central VoIP network connection of ISDN telephony systems with standardized and proprietary protocols • Carrier grade media gateway controller integrating VoIP networks into TDM-based voice networks (PSTN/SS7) Utilizing central exchange, DATUS SipXchange systems (based on OpenSER) support miscellaneous SIP-Derivates and therefore allow homogenous solutions on application layer while running heterogeneous (SIP-) systems at the same time. Besides of registration and authentication of SIP users, the connection of ISDN telephony systems over E1 with DSS1 and Q.SIG is supported. DATUS’ iAGS-4 voice-media gateways excel through their “Quality of Services” mechanisms, as well as its plenty options of supported voice protocols within the IP and ISDN sector. As manufacturer independent systems they are compatible to numerous VoIP exchange systems (Softswitch, Call-Manager, IP-Centrex) and old-fashioned ISDN telephony systems which use standardized and proprietary protocols. The Essentra CX systems manufactured by our partner VocalTec moreover offer central carrier grade media gateway controller for changeover of VoIP networks to PSTN/SS7 networks (IN). |

DATUS Corp. offers an installation services as a "completely carefree package". The entire installation will be performed in place of the customer.
Furthermore, a Change-Management, as well as execution of rollouts, is offered. If required, DATUS Corp. will take charge of the planning.
The DATUS Training center is integrated within the main branch office in Aachen. At present it includes three training classrooms.
