VocalTec’s Essentra BAX is a class 5 switch (IP-Centrex) for realizing centralized IP telephony solutions (hosted VoIP services). Using its wide range of telephony performance features, it is best suited for private, as well as, business customers. Thereby, the modular construction of the systems makes a cost optimized adjustment possible, regarding upgrading, as well as scope of services according to customers' needs. For business customers, the Essentra BAX appeals through the support of virtual private networks (VPN) and a variety of IP-Centrex features. The intuitive operable web-based interface permits users to control and adjust their own telephony services. Essentra EX is a modular exchange system for VoIP voice transfer within and between SIP and/or H.323 networks. It fulfills the requirements of operators regarding protocol interworking, billing, security and intelligent routing mechanisms. Both VocalTec systems, Essentra BAX and EX, are specially suited for realizing powerful VoIP and IP-Centrex services within operator networks, while being cost and performance efficient.

Installation

DATUS Corp. offers an installation services as a "completely carefree package". The entire installation will be performed in place of the customer.

Maintenance

Furthermore, a Change-Management, as well as execution of rollouts, is offered. If required, DATUS Corp. will take charge of the planning.

Training center

The DATUS Training center is integrated within the main branch office in Aachen. At present it includes three training classrooms.
